As a thought, would a DS276 (http://datasheets.maxim-ic.com/en/ds/DS276.pdf) be a functional replacement, and would it reduce costs/power usage any? It claims to support leeching some power from the Rx line, and doesn't require the external caps, as well as having a smaller footprint. Jercos 09:41, 30 March 2008 (EDT)
