Description

This page shows how to hack a servo for continuous rotation. Servos are probably the cheapest solution for a geared motor including control electronics. They can be connected directly to DSerial, but 5V have to be supplied separately from a battery.

How-To

Servo in packaging
Opened the servo
Remove the plastic tab on the output gear
Remove the potentiometer
Potentiometer replaced by two 2.2kOhm resistors
Reassembled servo attached to a wheel
