DSerial DS slot

Description

Those are the pads that connect to the DS slot. Only the SPI lines are used for data transfer. Additionally, DSerial can request attention via the IRQ line which then generates an interrupt on the DS.

Power for DSerial is taken from the DS. No external power supply is required.
